The Master and a small team of Plaisterers recently visited Loughborough Schools Foundation where the Plaisterers Charitable Trust sponsor Florence for a Music bursary.

One of the team was Past Master Hubert Lacey who attended the school in the late 50th and who had been instrumental in introducing the Company to it. Another distinguished old boy of the school is Harry Humber, who started there in September 1919.

We toured the School and had a chance to see some of the archives highlighting Harry Humber’s time at the School (as well as hearing from Hubert about his own antics) before meeting Florence and then hearing her sing. She is a talented individual who we hope to welcome at the Hall at some stage in the next two years.

The performance below shows a small section of her talent.
