On a visit to Wentworth House recently, while in the Van Dyck Room, the Deputy Master was very happy to read that “The pretty plasterwork in this room was done by Joseph Rose Snr, together with his brother Jonathan. Joseph was appointed Master of the Worshipful Company of Plaisterers in 1775. Other notable houses he worked on include Chatsworth, Harewood House and Kedleston Hall.”

Wonderful to see the stunning work looking so good centuries later.
