Under an initiative led by the Deputy Master, The Plaisterers Charity have recently supported our local school, Prior Weston, to enable them to take a number of children to Farms for City Children. 

The Clerk recently visited the School and spoke with the Headmistress and some of the children and it was clear just what a success this trip had been. 

The Headmistress said that the Plaisterers donation had enabled some children who otherwise would not have been able to attend to go on the trip. The Children have written a lot of thank you letters, too many to show on our website; a couple are shown below but others will be displayed in the Hall for the next few events.  

Farms for City Children is an initiative set up by Michael Morpurgo to help inner-city children experience the countryside and farming.  

Our Donation is the first step in what we hope will be a longer relationship with Prior Weston School.
